Origin of Thee Vineyard
Our mission is to foster community growth and transformation by delivering essential resources and valuable services through education, engagement and community collaborations with the selfless dedication of volunteers and generous donations.
We encompassed our image in the concept of a vineyard because we set out to remind people of the scripture, Matthew 20: 1-16. Where it's never too late to start as long as you make the decision to start. Though we are not a religious based organization, we believe everyone has their own section of Thee Vineyard. Only you can cater to your section the way it needs to be done. So we set out to uplift, encourage and assist people in bettering themselves in more forms of support than one, so they can do the same for others. Endlessly creating a network of others helping others.
Helping the homeless by providing meals and hygiene products. Helping students by proving financial assistance with school fees and college assistance (application fees and dorm items). Assisting members of the community by providing resources and hosting events to raise money to fund programs and donations to fill voids in the community.
We have had successful homeless feedings, back to school drive, Thanksgiving feeding, Valentine's Day event for the homeless, Mother's Day gifts for women in rehabilitation centers, and currently running a Winter Blanket drive for the homeless.
